Sales Manager – Hospital Line

General Description

A Sales Manager for the Hospital Line is responsible to lead, manage and inspire the hospital sales team to create meaningful, measurable connections and experiences with their customers, to support revenue growth and sales/marketing strategies. With their medical knowledge and strong marketing senses, the Sales Manager for the Hospital Line assists the hospital sales team to develop the brand and achieve business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promoting the company’s existing brands and introducing new products to the market.
  • Analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotas and goals.
  • Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company’s marketing goals.
  • Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.
  • Implementing new sales plans and advertising.
  • Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing marketing and sales teams to meet sales and marketing human resource objectives.
  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
  • Staying current in the industry by attending conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.

Knowledge and Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of proven work experience in the pharma field in Hospital Line sector.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Sales and marketing knowledge of the pharma industry.
  • Good knowledge of the working area.
  • Commercial and business awareness.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Ability to deal with people who hold differing beliefs or values in an outgoing and persuasive manner.
  • Ability to work in a flexible environment, to work under pressure, and to adapt to changes quickly.
